THE LAND OF THE REALM ADVENTURER'S GUIDE

===========< PROLOGUE >===========
It was a gloomed day when the evil wizard appeared, for our land had
been blessed by the gods of fortune, truly a land flowing with milk and
honey. But, alas, twas but a cursed famine, and a vicious plague set
upon us by mischevious gnomes that caused our people to turn to the
likes of Jhared-Simn...
His evil was masked by a cloak of false kindness and hollow concern,
for after ridding our land of the plague, and filling our lofts with
grain till they burst at the seams, his trickery and evil set upon us
like a rabid canine upon freshly killed meat. And before we could
realize his motives, the unthinkable happened; the curr stole from us
the magical Staff of MOTR, the Master Of The Realm...
At that, MOTR grew angry with us and cast our land into eternal
darkness, eternal pain and strife. There is but one act known which
can rescue us from this evil state. A brave warrior must retrieve the
staff from the innermost levels of the labyrinth... Many before have
tried, only to be destroyed by the evil creatures lurking in the depths
of the evil dungeons, or the many traps set by the angered MOTR, who
had entrusted his valuable possession with us.
The Staff must be retrieved, or the people of the land will perish, for
the Krystal Palace is haven for so very few, those fortunate... Who
will help us ????

The Land of the Realm is intended to be a combination
online/role-playing game. The main object of the game is to explore and
map your way down to the 10th level of the labyrinth, find the staff of
MOTR, and make your way back to the surface. Here are some tips for
staying alive and growing by some of the best...
1. There are quite a few options to the adventurer while in the Land.
Newer adventurers should thoroughly familiarize themselves with all
the locations of the Realm and their functions. These are support
areas, and are needed in order to assist you in your growth as a
warrior of the Realm.
2. Use your gold wisely. In the early stages of your adventure, it is
quite easy to run out of gold and resources, and not have enough to
continue. You must therefore become very intelligent when purchasing
food, drinks, weapons, armor, etc.
3. Don't rush into the Labyrinth too soon. This is where most new
adventurers get killed. They are so anxious to begin the trek for
the staff, that they enter the dungeons too soon. And without the
proper armament or weaponry, you are sure to be killed. One of the
best ways to gain strength and gold is to start fights in the
tavern.
4. Once you have gained enough strength to enter the Labyrinth, the
best strategy is to dash in, explore a few rooms, and dash out for
healing, food, water, or whatever else you need to stay alive.
5. Make a friend or two by participating in a conversation in the
Palace tavern. You'll never know when someone will have to come down
into the labyrinth to rescue you from the evil creatures of
darkness.
6. The arena can be a dangerous place. Use it sparingly.
7. Make sure you have spells when you enter the labyrinth. These can
come in handy if you are injured deep within the bowels of the
labyrinth.
